What You’ll Do:

  • Take a hands-on approach to drive excellence in sourcing and procurement.
  • Serve as the company's resident expert, designing and executing a global supplier and procurement strategy.
  • Lay the foundation for future procurement workflows and processes, collaborating closely with the product team to define essential features and system capabilities.
  • Implement effective Quality Management procedures to ensure the highest standards in procurement practices.
  • Hire and manage freelancers and different service providers to execute end-to-end client procurement.
  • Work tirelessly to build and optimize internal procedures, monitor KPIs, and constantly seek new ways to enhance efficiency.

Who You Are:

  • A get-things-done individual with a goal-oriented work ethic.
  • Possess an autonomous spirit with a mindset for building and optimizing processes.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience in an international context, working with both buyers and sellers. Familiarity with the Electronic components space-advantage.
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets) and a willingness to adapt to and leverage technological advancements in procurement.
  • High degree of intercultural competence and negotiation experience with international partners.
  • Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating seamlessly across different departments.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

International Account Manager

Makat.ai helps OEMs and EMS companies resolve supply chain disruptions, reduce their PPVs, maximize excess inventory returns, and achieve annual cost reduction targets using a tailored AI-driven application. 

Looking to disrupt the 'traditional' ways of buying and selling electronic parts, Makat is reinventing independent distribution with a tech-first approach and fresh mindset. After 18 months of building the platform and working with a handful of OEM and EMS customers to validate our offering, we’re preparing to expand globally and hire our first GTM leader.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a hands-on leader.
  • Own, forecast, and exceed annual sales objectives within the assigned territories.
  • Serve as the company’s resident expert in sales and GTM.
  • Independently Prospect, identify, engage, and mature leads into a qualified sales opportunity.
  • Lay the foundation for a future, high-performing sales organization. 
  • Work closely with the product team to define the essential features and system capabilities. 
  • Interact comfortably with customer-side procurement decision-makers, tactical purchasing managers, and buyers.
  • Hire and manage freelancers, service providers, and future employees to execute GTM from A-Z.
  • Work ridiculously hard to acquire Makat’s first 25 international accounts, build the best sales funnels, and optimize them over time while monitoring KPIs and finding new ways to improve constantly.

Who You Are

  • Autonomous spirit, Process-building mindset.
  • Proven track record (at least 3 years) as a quota-bearing sales practitioner in the electronics space.

  • Build and maintain a scalable, reliable backend system using technologies like Gen-AI, serverless architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and design key features that align with our product vision.
  • As we scale, ensure system performance, security, and availability are at the highest standard.

What You'll Need:

  • A fast learner with a passion for problem-solving and a proactive "doer" mentality.
  • +2 years of experience in software development, regardless of language. (We use TypeScript, but we're open to all backgrounds)
  • Experience building web applications, working with data modeling, or implementing Gen-AI applications- big advantage.
